About Me
I'm originally from Burlington, Massachusetts; a suburb of Boston. My passion for acting began when I was 14 years old in my freshman year of high school. I had never been exposed to the theatre because nobody in my family had previous experience in the dramatic arts. I remember auditioning for the fall production of Its A Wonderful Life to try something new and different. That's where the domino effect began...
I began auditioning for every fall and spring production, as well as joining a community theatre outside my high school during the summer time. Theatre brought me out of my comfort zone and heavily improved my social and communication skills. By senior year, I had performed in 8 productions, including Arsenic and Old Lace, Almost Maine, Hairspray, and Grease.
MY Training
I graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor in Fine Arts in Theatre Acting from Adelphi University in New York. In my 4 years there, I've acquired the essential tools of becoming a well-rounded and educated actor. Based in Stanislavsky vocabulary and Linklater voice training, I've taken everything I've learned and tested it on every stage I perform. I leave Adelphi with 7 full productions including Angels in America: Millennium Approaches, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Peter and the Starcatcher, and Machinal. Over the summer of 2017, I worked with Commonwealth Shakespeare Company's Apprentice Program, an 8-week summer training program focused in Shakespearean text, voice, and movement classes. I had the opportunity to star as Prince Hal in their production of Henry IV: Part I, showcased in and around the greater Boston area. Through this program I was able to earn 7 EMC points (baby steps!). With my time in Los Angeles, I’ve taken classes at Anthony Meindl’s Acting Workshop in Hollywood, as well a weekly acting workshop called Stop F*cking Acting taught by Ronnie Marmo.
More About Me
I currently reside in Los Angeles where I will further pursue my acting career. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, going to the cinema, taking long walks, exploring different coffee shops, exercising, and drinking an insane amount of caffeine.
Film was something that might have subconsciously sparked my interest for theatre from a young age. I remember being 4 years old, and binge watching movies like Titanic, Independence Day, Men in Black, and Toy Story. Going to the movie theaters is my most favorite thing to do. I've collected every ticket stub of every movie I've seen dating back to 2010 (I'm not the only one, right?). I'm a big fan of films by Denis Villenueve, Wes Anderson, David Fincher, The Coen Brothers, Alex Garland, Christopher Nolan, Alejandro Iñárritu, Martin Scorsese, and Steven Soderbergh.
I'm an identical twin, but (plot twist) with different birthdays. I was born a minute before midnight on December 2nd and Jon was born 13 minutes later on December 3rd.
